Jewel came into the recording business at a young age and it was really gratifying to help her determine her identity. Her first album captured her youthful energy. So for her 2nd album, we decided to show how she was maturing using sepia toned black and white. I worked with the great Matthew Rolston using 8 x 10 polaroids to capture her natural beauty - sometimes old school is the way to go. For additional advertising and singles, David LaChapelle created some incredibly grande scenarios.
